Emil’s is part café, part self-pour taproom - stitched together with a lot of butter, a little grit, and a healthy sense of humor.
Named after Emil - or Mitch, or just Papa, depending on who you ask - we built this place the way he lived: resourceful, big-hearted, and never afraid to break a few rules if it made the gravy better.
So here’s what you’ll find at Emil’s: food made from scratch, a tap wall that refuses to be boring, craft coffee, and music that fits like it was picked just for you. Come on in, pour yourself a drink, and have a meal with us. We’d like to get to know you better.
AY-mil not UH-meel
This is Emil. When he was little, his mom made hooch during the prohibition. His job was putting the caps on the bottle.
He ran an entire army mess hall.
He taught us to put strong black coffee in gravy because, well, he was just a baller like that.
We called him Papa. His legacy lives on.
